The 50th Anniversary Edition of the National Red & White Convention is underway in Elkhorn, WI. Convention goers have been enjoying a variety of farm tours throughout Wisconsin and northern Illnois, as well as animals being prepared for exhibit in the National Convention Show, scheduled for Saturday; and the offering in the National Convention Sale being held Friday.
Tours were held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday featured tours at Sexing Technologies, April Day and Fertile Ridge, as well as Briar Holsteins. Wednesday took convention goers to Frozen Farm, Maple Lawn Farm, Rosedale Genetics and Sellcrest Farm. Thursday, the tours headed south into northern Illinois and featured stops at Holbric Holsteins, Luck-E Holsteins, Golden Oaks and ended back in Wisconsin at Sunshine Genetics.
