The 2014 edition of the Wisconsin Junior State Fair is underway at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, WI.  Nathan Thomas of North Lewisburg, OH has made the trip northwest to place one of the largest Junior Shows in the nation, with the assistance of Ryan Weigel of Platteville, WI.  Holstein calves (Spring-Fall) will be sorted today, while the show continues at 9am tomorrow with Holstein yearlings, followed by Holstein cows and colored breeds in the afternoon.

 

Siemers Defnt Great-Red-ET was named Calf Champion and the eventual Junior Champion for Vanessa Roberts of Whitelaw, WI. Reserve Calf Champion honors went to Siemers Wood Ashlynn-ET, the exhibit of Jake Siemers of Kiel, WI.  Yearling Champion and the overall Reserve Junior Champion honors were garnered by Petitcler Windbrk Frimousse and Jake Siemers, Kiel, WI, while Reserve Yearling Champion was Craigcrest Rejoices Reconfir-ET, exhibited by Eva Doornink, Baldwin, WI.  Grand Champion Holstein was Milksource Durham Giggle-ET exhibited by Chloe Vosters of Freedom, WI and Reserve honors went to Darren Kamphuis of Brandon, WI with Bella-Ridge Gin Blossom-ET.
