World Dairy Expo Makes Final Call for 2017 Futurity Entries
The deadline is quickly approaching for dairy cattle exhibitors to enter their eligible animals for the 2017 World Dairy Expo International Futurity. Entries for the Futurity will close November 1.
The Three-Year-Old Futurity competition is in place for Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Holstein, Jersey, Milking Shorthorn and Red & White cattle. Each breed judge will select a Futurity breed winner, and then an overall winner and reserve will be crowned.
Three-Year-Olds from each breed will be awarded premiums based on entries received.
Animals eligible for the 2017 WDE Futurity must be born between September 1, 2013 and August 31, 2014. The one-time Futurity fee is $50.
