PDPW Webinar Series Focuses on Healthy Udders, Optimal Milk
The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin will begin its next World-Class Webinar Series this month on helping dairy producers minimize udder challenges that can lead to more comfortable cows with increased milk production. Pamela Ruegg, DVM, professor and extension milk quality specialist in the Department of Dairy Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will facilitate the three-part webinar.
The first program, being held November 18, will focus on the impact of bedding choices on udder health of freestall herds. On December 2, she will discuss key performance indicators to manage udder health. The series wraps up on January 6 on five keys to maximizing results.
All presentations will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The cost to participate in the on-line interactive program for PDPW members is $100 per registered computer. Non-members can join in for $125. There is no limit to the number of people who wish to share one computer for the program.
