Center Offers Scholarships for Economic Reset Webinars

Harrisburg, Pa. – The Center for Dairy Excellence is offering a $25 scholarships to discount the price for any Pennsylvania dairy producer or allied industry representative to participate in the World Class Webinar Series on “Success During an Economic Reset” hosted by the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin. Two webinars will be held on June 8 and July 6, both featuring Dr. David Kohl, professor emeritus at Virginia Tech University.

“With all dairy producers looking for solutions as they work through the current price cycle, Dr. Kohl can offer tremendous insight on moving forward,” said Jayne Sebright, interim executive director at the Center for Dairy Excellence. “The center is pleased to partner with PDPW to extend this opportunity to Pennsylvania producers and industry representatives.”

Dr. Kohl was a professor of Agricultural Economics at Virginia Tech from 1978 until his retirement in 2003. Dr. Kohl’s work had a national and international focus on agri-lender, agribusiness, and producer education in finance, business management, and strategic management of small and mid-size agricultural and rural enterprises. Currently, he focuses on analyzing best management practices for optimum agricultural business performance and examining enhanced productivity levels in online and blended training for agricultural lenders
