The International Guernsey Show will kick off the first day
of World Dairy Expo on Tuesday, October 4th at 7:30 am CDT and Dairy
Agenda Today will be there to bring you all the results and photos as the show
progresses because of the generous show coverage sponsorship of Millborne Farms
and Knapp Guernseys.
Millborne Farms is owned by P. Morey Miller and Family in
Granby, CT and they are no stranger to the winner’s circle as they’ve exhibited
several champions over the years. They
believe in production, good components, generations of excellent udders and
feet and legs. They are striving to work with animals that will build legacies,
compete in the ring and enhance their herd as well as the Guernsey breed.
Knapp Guernseys of Epworth, Iowa involves Randy, Wanda,
Austin and Landen Knapp. The Knapps have enjoyed success on the tanbark trail
as a year ago at World Dairy Expo, Austin and Landen Knapp were not only named
Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder, but one of Guernsey breed’s perennial
favorites, Knapps Regis Tambourine-ET won the aged cow class and was named the
Nasco International Type and Production award winner. “Tambourine” is scored EX-95 @7-04 and is a
Regis out of the EX-93 Knapp Ace Tamera and has multiple All-American
nominations.
Dairy Agenda Today thanks Millborne Farms and Knapp Guernseys for their generous support of our show coverage.
The show on Tuesday, October 4th will be judged
by Brian Behnke of Albany, Wisconsin and his associate Jason Danof of Waukon,
Iowa.
