World Ayrshire Conference: Dairy Shrine and 7 Oaks Dairy

October 4th saw the World Ayrshire Conference travel to Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to visit the National Dairy Shrine Museum. Founded in 1949 by a small group of visionary dairy leaders, National Dairy Shrine now has nearly 20,000 members encompassing virtually every facet of the industry.

Then the tour continued to 7 Oaks Dairy owned by Margaret Hazeltine and Rob and Tiffany Hazeltine, Janesville, Wisconsin. A few herd favorites are Grand-View HP Dreamer Duo classified VG-87@2yr. A special young cow that's getting better every day. Duo could possibly be the first 10th generation EX!!!! She will be flushed soon and who knows maybe make the 11th generation of EX cows. Her dam is Grand-View Burdette Diamond EX-91, granddam Grand-View BBBK Dreamer EX-94 4E and the 2016 Wisconsin Cow of the year.La Sapiniere Chelyo, dam of popular new release sire La Sapiniere Chelyote @ Semex goes EX-91 MAX score. We think there's something special about this cow and her best days are still coming!! The Hazeltines hosted a great evening meal.
