If you think you have it bad read what has happened at Ed Crossland's farm!
The main milking barn at Ed Crossland's in Mount Savage, Maryland collapsed under an unusually heavy snowload on Saturday trapping 22 cows belonging to him and his herd manager, Rodney Rankin.
All cows were able to be cut out safely. No one was in the barn at the time due to being delayed by the inclement weather as it collapsed at the typical feeding time. By Sunday, friends and neighbors in the dairy business had arranged for a home for the
35 milking animals despite the weather issues. The Crosslands and Rankins are thankful to be blessed with such friends, family and neighbors.
