The next stop for the Lancaster Holstein club tour was Scarlett Summer Holsteins- Jarod & Marsha Burleigh of Muncy, PA.

The group had their picture taken in front of the new facility that was built two years ago.
Scarlet-Summer Rubens Gwendelyn (EX-93) was a favorite of many. She will be shown at the PA Spring show in a few weeks.
After Burleighs, the group traveled on to the home of Adam & Lisa Sonnen. Cow care is a #1 priority for the Sonnens and it was evident as the group went through the barn.
The group enjoyed listening to Adam's breeding philosophies.

A bull that has worked extremely well in the herd is Stanhope Sovereign as evident by this EX daughter.
The final farm stop was of the day was North-Rush Holsteins, the Schultz family of Danville, PA .

Marlin explained to the group how he is taking a keen interest in genomics and is using around 80% high genomic young sires. He currently has calves on the ground by Trump and Spearmint. Some of the families represented in the herd were Leader Melanie (EX-95), LL Sammy (EX-95), Leduc Victoria (EX-94), Durham Episode (EX-92), Ultimate Pala (EX-94) and
Duster Julienna (EX-94).

This fancy uddered young cow is a Hi-Metro daughter from a 100% blood sister to Jeeves. Her grand-dam ix Ex-94 Ked Duster Julienna.
Everyone enjoyed the hospitality shown by each farm.
Numerous laughs were had on trip, especially when Dick Mellinger decided to dress like the Amish.
