The governor of Pennsylvania has announced a $5 million grant program to help dairy farmers modernize or expand their business.
The Pennsylvania Dairy Investment Program will provide funds for research, marketing, new business opportunities, transitioning to organic or expanding value-added production to help farmers become more competitive during a challenging economy.
Funding is expected to be available in November.
