Ballantyne, Robert Alexander “Bob”

It’s a peaceful morning at the farm, the corn is coming up and the sun is shining. However, it’s a heart-breaking time for our family as we regret to inform you our dad, papa, friend, farmer and husband to Terry has peacefully passed away through the night.

The Family was fortunate to spend yesterday by his side.

Bob was a well-known farmer and implement dealer in the Ayr area for many years. Proud member of the Ontario Agricultural College class of 61A.

Beloved husband to Terry (nee Snyder); loved dad to Shellie Rowley (Jeff), Angela Watson (Andrew), Rob Eby (Julie) and Andrea Koebel (Mark); cherished Papa to Christie, Colbie, Sam, Molly, Mason, Rilee, Presley and Brinkleigh; dear brother to Cameron (Linda) and Janet Grandy (Doug). He will be fondly remembered by the extended McNeil and Ballantyne families.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Wednesday June 26, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at Stirling Ave Mennonite Church (57 Stirling Ave. N. Kitchener) on Thursday at 2:00 PM. Family interment Detweiler (Roseville) Cemetery.
