Milk Futures, Cash Dairy Mostly Higher

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mostly higher Tuesday supported by cash markets.

 

September Class III milk unchanged at $16.35.  October 42 cents higher at $19.27.  November 19 cents lower at $18.58.  December six cents higher at $17.48.  January through March contracts five cents lower to three cents higher.

 

Dry whey unchanged at $0.3850.

 

Blocks up $0.0025 at $2.5650.  Two trades were made at that price.

 

Barrels up $0.0550 at $1.73.  Five sales were made ranging from $1.6750 to $1.72.

 

Butter up $0.0075 at $1.51.  Five trades were made ranging from $1.51 to $1.54.

 

Nonfat dry milk up $0.02 at $1.13.  Four sales were made at $1.1250 and $1.13.
